Little Elm is a growing community of 22,000 with nearly 60 miles of shore line along Lake Lewisville. New regional access patterns have put the quiet lake town squarely in the path of Dallas County’s northern growth corridor. The town recognized an opportunity to channel this growth into a long term asset that creates a new heart for the community.

TOWNSCAPE’s Town Center Plan takes advantage of the increased regional access by creating a pedestrian-oriented mixed use center that utilizes “waterfront resort town” concept through a blending of walkable blocks, public spaces, architectural character, materials and color unique to Little Elm. TOWNSCAPE also designed concepts for enhancing and mitigating the impact of the regional highway which bisects the town, including a pedestrian underpass linking the town center to the waterfront.
